When you choose Castle Clean & Seal, your investment is protected. Every paver sealing project we complete is backed by our Castle Shield Warranty — our commitment to standing behind our workmanship and materials.
Warranty Coverage
Premium Package: 18-Month Limited Warranty
Platinum Package: 30-Month Limited Warranty
Your warranty period begins on the date of service completion and is tied to the original service address and property owner.
By approving your quote, you agree to the terms of this warranty. No separate signature is required.
What's Covered
We warrant that our paver sealing services will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the duration of your warranty period. Specifically, this includes:
Workmanship defects — Delamination, peeling, bubbling, hazing, or discoloration caused by improper application on our part.
Coverage issues — Uneven coverage, missed areas, or visible application defects resulting from our work.
Joint sand failure — Premature washing out of joint stabilizing sand due to improper installation. This does not include wash-out from flooding or severe weather events.
Material defects — Sealer failure attributable to defective materials, provided the failure is not caused by environmental or usage factors outlined below.
If your sealer fails due to any of the above during your warranty period, we will return and re-seal the affected area at no charge.
What's Not Covered
Paver sealing is affected by many factors outside of our control. This warranty does not cover damage, discoloration, or deterioration caused by:
Irrigation and water exposure — Staining or mineral deposits from sprinkler overspray, well water, iron content, or hard water. We recommend adjusting sprinkler heads to minimize contact with sealed surfaces.
Base and substrate issues — Efflorescence (white mineral deposits) or staining caused by moisture migrating up through the paver base. This is a pre-existing condition related to the original paver installation, not our sealer.
Normal wear and UV degradation — Sealer naturally wears down over time due to foot traffic and sun exposure. This is expected and not a defect.
Vehicle traffic — Hot tire marks, scuffing, or accelerated wear on driveways, unless the area was specifically quoted and priced for vehicular use.
Chemical exposure — Damage from fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, pool chemicals, rust from metal furniture, oil, grease, or other corrosive substances.
Severe weather — Damage from flooding, standing water, hurricanes, or other extreme weather events.
Physical damage — Scratches, gouges, or damage from furniture, equipment, construction, or impact.
Improper cleaning — Damage from pressure washing above 1,500 PSI, harsh chemicals, or failure to follow our care guidelines.
Third-party work — Any repairs, resealing, or modifications performed by anyone other than Castle Clean & Seal will void this warranty.
Previously Sealed Pavers
If your pavers were sealed by another company prior to our service, warranty coverage may be limited. Old sealer can affect adhesion and longevity of our application in ways that aren't always visible at the time of service.
For previously sealed surfaces, warranty coverage is limited to 50% of the standard warranty period unless we perform a full sealer removal prior to application.
Care Requirements
To maintain your warranty coverage, please follow these guidelines:
Allow 24–48 hours before foot traffic and 72 hours before vehicle traffic after service.
Clean sealed surfaces with mild soap and water only.
Pressure wash at 1,500 PSI or below, keeping the wand at least 12 inches from the surface.
Clean up spills of oil, grease, fertilizer, or chemicals promptly.
Adjust irrigation to minimize overspray on sealed areas.
Use protective pads under metal furniture to prevent rust staining.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your sealer has failed due to our workmanship or materials:
Contact us within 30 days of discovering the issue.
Provide your invoice number and photos of the affected area.
We'll schedule a site inspection within 14 business days.
If your claim is approved, we'll re-seal the affected area within 30 days at no charge.
Limitations
This warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy. Our liability is limited to re-sealing the affected area and shall not exceed the original service price. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
This warranty is non-transferable. If the property is sold, warranty coverage does not transfer to the new owner.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state.
